Accessibility Statement

Effective date: 3 July 2026

Accessibility is a core part of what Inclusive App craft builds and how we build it. This statement covers inclusiveappcraft.com and applies to every page and feature published under this domain.

1. Our commitment

We are committed to ensuring that our website and products are accessible to everyone, including people with visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and situational disabilities. Accessibility is treated as a baseline engineering requirement, not a post-launch audit.

2. Conformance status

This website targets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Our own review confirms substantial conformance across the site. For a detailed view of the criteria we hold ourselves to, see our WCAG 2.2 AA checklist.

3. Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML, ARIA only where semantics fall short, and a single H1 per page.
  • Full keyboard operability with a visible focus ring on every interactive element.
  • Colour contrast that meets or exceeds 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI components.
  • Alt text for meaningful images; empty alt attributes for decorative ones.
  • Form fields with associated labels, descriptive error messages, and programmatic error announcements.
  • Respect for user preferences: reduced motion, dark mode, and system font sizing.
  • Content that reflows without loss of information down to a 320 CSS-pixel viewport width.
  • Skip links so keyboard and screen-reader users can bypass repeated blocks.
  • Automated accessibility linting in continuous integration, plus manual review before release.

4. Compatibility

The site is designed to be compatible with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) on desktop and mobile, and with the following assistive technologies: NVDA and JAWS on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and TalkBack on Android. It requires JavaScript to be enabled for interactive features; core content is accessible without it.

5. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain — often in embedded third-party content, older blog images, or newly-published pages that have not yet had a manual audit. If you find such an issue, please tell us so we can fix it and update this statement.

6. Feedback and complaints

If you cannot access something on this site, or you have suggestions to improve accessibility, please contact us:

  • Email: [email protected]
  • Phone / WhatsApp: +233 59 986 8755
  • Post: University of Ghana IT Directorate (UGITD), ATL Building, Legon, Accra, Ghana

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within one business day and to provide a resolution or a clear plan within ten business days. When you report an issue, please tell us the page URL, the problem you experienced, and the assistive technology, browser, and operating system you were using so we can reproduce it.

7. Enforcement

If we do not respond to your report or you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations (GFD) or, where the Persons with Disability Act, 2006 (Act 715) applies, with the National Council on Persons with Disability.

8. Review

This statement was last reviewed on 3 July 2026. We review it at least once a year, and after any significant change to the site.
