About us

Building technology without barriers

Inclusive App Craft exists because great technology should work for everyone — and too often it doesn't.

Our story

Inclusive App Craft was founded by Archebold Degraft Acquah out of lived experience. Archebold is a software developer — and he is visually impaired. He built this company around a barrier he met himself.

Applying for a contract to build an online booking system, he passed every stage of the interview. The final step was to produce a prototype using a design tool. But design tools like Figma are built for the mouse and the eye; a visually impaired developer simply cannot use them. So he did what he does best — he wrote the prototype in code, built a working Django application, and sent a live link to the real, functioning system. He never heard back.

The problem was never his skill. He had built the working product while others were still drawing pictures of it. The problem was that the tools of the industry — and the assumptions baked into them — quietly shut capable people out. He had hit the same wall before: he could not study IT at university because he had not taken secondary-school mathematics, and Ghana has almost no accessible mathematics resources for blind students to learn from in the first place.

Inclusive App Craft exists to take those walls down. We research the barriers that keep people with disabilities out of technology — and out of building it — and we engineer the way through. We partner with technology companies, and organisations entering the tech field, to build products everyone can use, and to prove what Archebold's own story already shows: inclusion and excellence are the same thing.

Our mission

To build technology without barriers — innovative, inclusive, and accessible digital solutions for businesses and individuals around the world.

Our vision

To become one of Africa's leading global technology companies — proof that world-class, inclusive software is built here.

Core values

What we refuse to compromise on

Inclusion first

Accessibility is a requirement, never an afterthought. If everyone can't use it, it isn't finished.

Trust through craft

We earn confidence with careful engineering, honest timelines, and software that keeps working.

Practical innovation

We adopt new technology — including AI — when it serves people, not because it's fashionable.

Global standards, local insight

World-class engineering grounded in the realities of the markets we serve.

Growth with purpose

We measure success by the doors our technology opens for our clients and their users.

Why accessibility matters

One billion reasons to build differently

More than one billion people — around 15% of the world — live with some form of disability. When digital products ignore them, businesses lose customers, institutions fail the public, and people are excluded from education, work, and everyday life.

Accessible products are also simply better products: easier to use for everyone, better for SEO, more resilient on slow connections and small screens, and increasingly required by law in markets around the world.

Our accessibility services

  • Every project tested with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation
  • WCAG 2.2 AA conformance verified before launch
  • Colour contrast, focus states, and reduced-motion support in every design
  • Teams trained so products stay accessible as they grow
