How Inclusive App Craft collects, uses, and protects your personal data.

Last updated: 7 July 2026

Inclusive App Craft ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website and services, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. We handle personal data in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address, and password when you create an account, and a record of when you accepted these policies.
  • Enquiries and leads — the details you give us through our contact, quotation, and consultation forms, including your name, email, phone number, organisation, and message.
  • Payment information — when you pay, our provider Paystack processes your payment. We receive confirmation and a reference, but we do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Learning activity — the courses you enrol in, your progress, quiz attempts and code you submit, certificates earned, and discussion posts.
  • AI mentor conversations — the questions you ask the AI mentor and its replies, so you can continue the conversation and we can improve the feature.
  • Client portal content — for our clients, the project details, documents, invoices, and messages you exchange with us.
  • Accessibility scans — when you use IAC Access, the web address you submit and the results of the scan.
  • Technical data — basic information your browser sends, such as your device and browser type, and cookies as described below.

2. How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and provide the Services you request.
  • To deliver courses, track progress, run the AI mentor, and issue certificates.
  • To respond to your enquiries and provide quotations and consultations.
  • To take payment and give you access to what you paid for.
  • To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Our legal grounds

We rely on: your consent (for example, when you tick the agreement box at signup or send us an enquiry); performance of a contract with you (to provide the Services you sign up for); our legitimate interests (to run and improve the platform and keep it secure); and compliance with legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Your rights).

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. We store your light/dark theme preference in your browser. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

5. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed to run the Services:

  • Paystack — to process payments securely.
  • OpenAI — the questions you send to the AI mentor, together with the relevant course context, are sent to OpenAI's API to generate a reply.
  • Service providers that host or support our platform, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers (such as Paystack and OpenAI) may process data on servers outside Ghana. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with this policy and applicable law.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterwards only for as long as necessary to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

8. How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

9. Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your data, where appropriate;
  • object to or restrict certain processing; and
  • withdraw consent you have given.

To exercise any of these rights, email our data-protection contact, adegraftacquah@inclusiveappcraft.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission.

10. Children

IAC Academy is open to learners of many ages, but if you are a minor under the law of your country, a parent or guardian should review this policy and agree on your behalf before you create an account.

11. A note on the AI mentor

When you chat with the AI mentor, your messages are sent to OpenAI to generate a response. Please don't share sensitive personal information (such as financial details, health information, or other people's private data) in those conversations.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.

13. Contact us
