Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Inclusive App Craft when you use our website and services.

Last updated: 7 July 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Inclusive App Craft website, IAC Academy, IAC Access, the client portal, and any related products and services (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Who we are

The Services are provided by Inclusive App Craft, a technology company based in Assistive Technology Lab (ATL), IT Directorate, University of Ghana, Accra. You can reach us at info@inclusiveappcraft.com.

3. The services we provide

We build inclusive, accessible digital products and offer them through this platform. This currently includes our marketing website, the IAC Academy learning platform, the IAC Access accessibility-scanning tools, and a portal for our clients. Some parts are free; some require payment or an active engagement with us. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time.

4. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
  • Accounts are for one person and may not be shared.
  • Tell us promptly at info@inclusiveappcraft.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your country. If you are a minor, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

5. Acceptable use

When using the Services, you agree not to:

  • break any law, or infringe anyone's rights;
  • upload harmful, unlawful, or abusive content;
  • attempt to disrupt, attack, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Services or other users' data;
  • use the IAC Access scanner against websites you do not own or do not have permission to test; or
  • misuse the AI mentor or any feature to generate unlawful, harmful, or deceptive content.

6. Courses, certificates & the AI mentor

IAC Academy certificates confirm that you completed a course and passed its assessments on our platform. They are a record of learning, not an accredited academic or professional qualification unless we state otherwise.

The AI mentor is an artificial-intelligence assistant that helps you learn. It can be wrong or incomplete, and its responses are not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. Always verify anything important, and don't share sensitive personal information with it.

7. Payments, pricing & refunds

Where a course or service is paid, prices are shown before you pay, in Ghanaian cedis (GHS) or US dollars (USD). Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paystack; we do not receive or store your full card details. Unless a specific refund term is stated for a product, or the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable once access has been granted. If something has gone wrong with a payment, contact us at info@inclusiveappcraft.com and we'll work with you in good faith.

8. Intellectual property

The Services, our course content, software, branding, and materials are owned by Inclusive App Craft or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them for their intended purpose. Content you submit — such as documents you upload to the client portal, questions you ask, or posts you make — remains yours; you grant us the permission we reasonably need to host, display, and process it in order to provide the Services to you.

9. Third-party services

We rely on trusted third parties to deliver parts of the Services — for example Paystack for payments and OpenAI to power the AI mentor. Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms, and some data is shared with them as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to make them accessible, reliable, and correct, but we do not guarantee they will be uninterrupted or error-free. In particular, the IAC Access scanner performs automated checks: it helps you find many common accessibility barriers, but it is not a complete audit and passing it does not by itself guarantee full conformance with WCAG or any law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inclusive App Craft will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or use the Services in a way that could harm others or us. Some provisions — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — continue to apply after your account ends.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Ghanaian courts.
