Ghana Persons With Disability Entrepreneurs and Business Association

The challenge

Entrepreneurs with disabilities in Ghana can face barriers to business opportunities, professional networks, information, visibility, and participation in entrepreneurial activities. For an association representing these entrepreneurs across the country, relying on fragmented or offline processes can also make it difficult to connect members and provide services efficiently.
The Ghana Persons with Disabilities Entrepreneurs and Business Association therefore needed a central digital platform through which it could establish its online presence, connect entrepreneurs with disabilities across Ghana, facilitate membership and member access, communicate opportunities and activities, and advance its goal of fostering unity and equal opportunities in business.
Accessibility was especially important because a platform created to serve persons with disabilities needed to be designed so that the technology itself would not become another barrier to participation.

What we built

Inclusive App Craft developed an accessible membership and business-support platform for the Ghana Persons with Disabilities Entrepreneurs and Business Association, giving the organisation a central digital presence through which it can connect with entrepreneurs with disabilities across Ghana.
The platform provides a structured way for prospective members to join the association, while existing members can access dedicated member services through the membership portal. It also gives the association a digital channel for communicating its mission, activities, opportunities, and information relevant to its entrepreneurial community.
Because the platform serves persons with disabilities, accessibility was treated as a core development requirement rather than an optional addition. IAC designed the website with consideration for semantic structure, keyboard navigation, screen-reader compatibility, accessible forms, clear content organisation, visible focus, and other inclusive interaction patterns.
The solution therefore combines association management, member engagement, information access, and accessible web development in one platform, helping the organisation extend its reach across Ghana while ensuring that its digital services reflect its commitment to inclusion and equal participation in business.
